Sandwich board sign with your logo
Sandwich boards are used everywhere to state plainly: I’m in business here! The quality of your business is immediately read by passers-by in the quality of your signage. Stands to reason that you should have great signage!
I made this sandwich board for a popup store in Newtown. (they have great stuff BTW click here for their website) Letters are carved out of 18mm thick form-ply. A more wooden result is possible too, with letters cut into a marine-ply board (like the sign in the background) and then painted for contrast.
The sign is assembled with quality hinges and a pair of bungee cords hook into a machined crosspiece to hold it rigidly in a triangle. When it is held like this, it’s unlikely to blow over.
Obviously this carved approach works best for a simple linework style logo. Send me your logo as a vector file (.ai, .eps, .pdf, etc.) and I’ll see how best to carve it. Send it as an attachment to mark@gunningdesign.com
I’ll send you a rendering of the sign to make sure everyone is on the same page!
